Samsung’s entry level 4G smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3, is now available to purchase in store and online from 3. The smartphone is available for free when you buy it from them with a 24 month price plan. For £32 per month you will get unlimited data, minutes and texts. You will also get free calls to 0800 numbers and 4G at no extra cost if you are living in an area that is equipped to provide it.
If you want to use data but don’t imagine you will be making all that many calls, there is a price plan for you too. 3 can give you the phone for just £26 per month with unlimited data and 300 minutes. There is also a cheaper version of this plan that provides 300 minutes and 1GB of data for just £20. Three also offers add-ons for voice and data if you exceed these limits.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is a mid-range smartphone that has a 3 inch screen for easily viewing videos, scrolling through pictures and viewing your friends’ social media updates. It also comes with a 5 megapixel camera and a Night Mode that provides higher quality even in low light. One of the cooler features on the phone, however, is the Smart Alert. This lets you know if you have missed any text messages or calls since you last picked up the phone via a vibration.
Sylvia Chind, the head of devices at 3, said: “The Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is a 4G ready phone that is a great all-rounder at a really attractive price. Our 4G roll-out is now well underway and we are aiming to reach fifty cities and many more towns by the end of this year and cover 98 per cent of the population by the end of 2015. This will provide our customers with a faster, smoother, and more reliable internet experience.”
