Lebara Play is the mobile network’s answer to on-demand streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Instant Video, iTunes and Talk Talk TV Store. However, it is tailored to meet the tastes of their main customers base: people with a foreign heritage living in the United Kingdom. It therefore provides international entertainment that is Bengali, Hindi, Punjabi, Turkish and more. This includes over 150 popular foreign TV channels and thousands of major movies. What ‘Passes’ Are Available To Lebara Customers?

There are two main types of passes available to Lebara customers:

International Passes

Passes are provided that allow you to make 100, 200, 250, 500, 600 or 100 minutes of calls to different countries. Depending on the pass you choose they can last between 7 and 30 days. They will cost between £5 and £20 depending on the specific pass you choose. For instance, you could select a pass that allows you 100 minutes of calls to France for 7 days at £5, or 500 minutes to Bangladesh for 30 days at £10. The options are available to browse on the official Lebara website. In order to use any of these passes there are different text codes you can send to 38885 to activate them.

Data Passes

There are four different options for data passes: A 500mb data pass that is valid for 30 days for £5, a 1gb data pass that costs £7.50 and is valid for 30 days, a 2gb data pass that is valid for 30 days at £10 and a 3gb pass that for £12.50 can be used for 30 days.

Can you pay Lebara with Paypal?

Unfortunately, you cannot top up your Lebara sim with a Paypal balance. To top up your Lebara sim, you must log into your account and select the amount you with to top up with. Once you have done this, follow the instructions on the screen and enter your card details when requested to. If you have a promotional code you can enter this at this stage.

Are Lebara to Lebara calls free?

Lebara to Lebara UK calls are free and unlimited with any Lebara sim card. However, if you are ring a Lebara number that isn’t within the UK, you will be charged. A table of charges can be found on the Lebara website, or by ringing the number above.

Lebara mobile phones work just like any other, you can call an international number easily. Simply dial + followed by the code of the country you wish to make a call to. Then type in the area code excluding the (0) at the beginning, following by the phone number you wish to call. Once you have done this, you will be connected.


Why has my SIM card stopped working?

If you have not used your SIM card for 84  days then it may have been disconnected. It is not possible to reactivate a card after this has happened. You will have to order a new card from Lebara. The new card will have a new number to the one you were previously using. They will, however, transfer any existing balance to the new card. Just call the Lebara contact number to do this.

How much do I pay on Lebara as a Pay As You Go customer?
