1.    I’m having trouble with my broadband or wireless connection. What can I do?

•    One of the most common reasons for broadband faults is a known network outage. You will need to use another internet connection to visit Virgin Media’s Service Status tool online to see if there is a known network outage in your area. Alternatively you can dial the Virgin Media telephone number.
•    Sometimes it can be something as simple as a cable not being in the right place. Try disconnecting your computer from the router and checking that power leads and cables are securely connected to and from the broadband equipment.

2.    What is TiVo and how do I use it?

•    TiVo is the exclusive TV set top box you will get when you subscribe to a Virgin Media TV package. With a terabyte of hard drive space, you can programme TiVo to record and organise all of your favourite programmes so that you can watch at your leisure and never miss a show.
•    TiVo also gives you access to On Demand content, which lets you catch up on the last 7 days of TV. With Virgin Media Collections, you can now also discover boxsets, seasonal collections, movies and TV shows.

3.    I’d like to cancel my Virgin Media subscription. How do I do this?

•    The minimum contract period for Virgin Media contracts is normally 9, 12 or 18 months. If you wish to cancel your subscription before your contract ends, Virgin Media may charge you the whole balance for the remaining period.
•    You must give Virgin Media at least 30 days notice of when you wish to cancel your subscription; otherwise you will be charged for the use of the service on any extra days outside of this period.
